TADY A TEĎ – an organization that has been a lifeline for people living in poverty for two decades – is now fighting for its own survival and for the continuation of social services for more than 800 people in need.
We were robbed by a sophisticated scam in which attackers posing as police officers and bankers convinced our experienced economist to transfer CZK 5,350,303 to supposedly secure accounts. That money had been intended to go to children, families without a support network, young people in debt traps, and women in long-term crisis who are fleeing violence.

We help more than 800 people a year. There is no other service in Pilsen capable of taking over our work on such a large scale. Our methods are recommended by PAQ Research, People in Need, and other experts.
However, within a few weeks, we may lose the programs that keep children in school, families in safe housing, and young people out of the debt spiral. We are at a turning point.

We did everything we could: the account was immediately blocked, we filed a criminal complaint, and we tightened security measures. But it was no longer possible to stop outgoing payments. According to the Czech Police, there is zero chance of recovering the stolen money.
